Artifex will be releasing the second wave of digital artwork today, Monday, June 7th, 2021 at 7:00pm featuring new 1/1 self portrait NFTs and limited edition Artifex 3D sculptures. Artifex is excited to introduce the first two artists in our second wave: Digital Icons.
Digital Icons represents a group of artists who have deep experience in the digital art space. To thoroughly honor each of these seasoned artists, Wave 2 artworks will be released gradually over a few weeks.

Artifex is especially happy to celebrate skygolpe’s birthday today with a special release!
Artifex premiered Wave 2 of the project, Digital Icons, in Miami, Florida on the Artifex World Tour. Coinciding with Bitcoin 2021, Artifex brought NFT artwork to the physical world on digital towers throughout downtown Miami. These towers showcased 25 of the project’s 100 artists, allowing the entire city to experience Artifex NFTs in living, vibrant colors.
Along with the digital towers, NFT art was on the move throughout Miami on LED trucks that drove around downtown, Wynwood, and the Miami Design District; introducing visitors and residents of Miami to the digital art world in their own city.
Artifex also had the opportunity to connect IRL with artists, collectors, and investors at a blue-chip event hosted by BlockTower Capital at TheArsenale, a cutting-edge space that curates and selects the finest objects in the world. The energy of the cryptoart space was palpable this past weekend in Miami. We eagerly anticipate the next stop on the #ArtifexWorldTour!
